How Inventory Upgrades Help You Survive
A full pack can turn a room packed with supplies into a frustrating shopping window. Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades expand your carrying space, helping you bring more resources into fights and collect more along the way. Hunt down Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades before leaving each area, because there is no chapter select to rescue missed pickups later.
Inventory expansion matters throughout Aidan’s journey. Ammunition, healing supplies, crafting materials, and spare equipment all compete for limited carrying space. Even after expanding your inventory, keep checking what you carry instead of collecting everything without a plan.
Extra capacity also works alongside the storage system. Shops have storage chests, and additional chests appear away from vendors. Use those opportunities to unload supplies before continuing through an area.
The locations below follow the game’s objective names, which appear in the Objectives menu. Use those names to match your current progress rather than searching for chapter numbers. This route covers six inventory upgrade pickups, from the early security office to the later elevator objective.

Where to Find Six Inventory Upgrade Pickups
Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades appear in several different kinds of locations: an office shelf, cabinets, safes, and even a chair in a dangerous stealth section. Check the exact container or landmark before moving on.
| Story objective or section | Upgrade location | Landmark to check |
|---|---|---|
| Escape the Cult, after the first Chatterer chase | Security office east of the large statue room | Shelf beside a locked cabinet |
| Find a Way Out of the Graveyard | Green cabinet in the room containing a save point | Check the cabinet |
| Open the Gate to Charlotte, mansion section | Large safe on the mansion’s upper floor | Contains the SMG |
| Find the Statue’s Tongue | Safe inside the hilltop shack south of the pagoda | Contains the Shotgun Full Choke |
| Get the Genesis Configuration Back | Dead end around the left side of the lower area | Attached to a chair holding a body |
| Use the Elevator | Keypad room south of the fourth shop | Code 1362; upgrade beside a body |
Security Office: Check the Shelf Beside the Cabinet
After obtaining the pistol and progressing into the large room with a statue, head east into the security office. The inventory upgrade sits on a shelf beside a locked cabinet.
The Leviathan Tip is also in this office, on a desk. Collect the upgrade while handling that objective item so you do not leave the room focused entirely on the puzzle.
Keep the shelf and cabinet separate in your search. The upgrade’s location is beside the locked cabinet, so check the surrounding furniture rather than concentrating only on the container.
Graveyard: Open the Green Cabinet
During Find a Way Out of the Graveyard, check the green cabinet in the room with the save point. It contains an Inventory Capacity Upgrade.
This section also includes a safe with the code 9606, which holds the pistol’s Oversized Magazine Release. Those are separate pickups: the weapon attachment comes from the safe, while the inventory expansion comes from the cabinet.
Save before continuing through the graveyard’s stealth encounters. If you are pursuing the A Quiet Place achievement, avoid picking up bottles or stones and complete the escape without throwing anything or being seen.
Mansion: Collect Everything Inside the SMG Safe
During Open the Gate to Charlotte, reach the mansion’s upper floor and open the large rotating-disc safe. It holds the SMG, an Inventory Capacity Upgrade, and the Marlowe Figure.
From the puzzle’s starting position, rotate the left section once, then the top section four times.
Check all three contents before leaving. The firearm and figure are easy to focus on because they connect directly to combat and progression, but the capacity upgrade shares their container.
Hilltop Shack: Search South of the Pagoda
During Find the Statue’s Tongue, head south of the pagoda to the shack at the top of the hill. Open the safe inside to collect another Inventory Capacity Upgrade.
The Shotgun Full Choke is in the same safe. Pick up both before returning to the puzzle-block objective.
Use the pagoda as your navigation landmark. One of the required puzzle blocks is held by the hanging body there, giving you a useful point from which to search for the shack.
Sister of Mercy: Search the Lower Left Dead End
During Get the Genesis Configuration Back, you must avoid the Sister of Mercy and reach the route leading upward. Before committing to that climb, go around the left side of the lower area.
The inventory upgrade is attached to the back of a chair with a body on it, inside a dead end.
Plan this detour around the enemy’s position. Bottles can distract the Sister of Mercy during this sequence; throw one across the room to draw her away from your intended route.
Fourth Shop: Enter Code 1362
During Use the Elevator, head south of the fourth shop to the keypad room in the dead-end area. Enter 1362.
Inside, collect the Inventory Capacity Upgrade from the ground beside the body. The room also contains the Assault Rifle Heavy Lower Handguard.
Before leaving this section, review your recipes and equipment at the shop. All purchasable items are available by this point, while the final shop comes immediately before the last boss.
Collect Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades as you reach them. Once you leave an area behind, you cannot rely on returning to recover a missed expansion.
Use Storage to Keep Your Inventory Useful
Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades give you more room, but storage lets you decide what deserves that room right now. Visit the chest whenever you reach a shop and review your supplies before departing.
Treasure deserves particular attention. Items marked Treasure exist to be sold, and you can sell stored treasure at the shop without first transferring it into your carried inventory. Deposit it in a chest when you find one, then cash it in at the next vendor.
| Item or resource | Relevant mechanic | Action to take |
|---|---|---|
| Treasure | Has no purpose beyond selling | Store it, then sell directly from storage |
| Spare firearms | Can be placed in storage | Store a firearm you are saving for a later task |
| Melee weapons | Lose durability and can break | Inspect their condition before carrying them onward |
| Healing supplies | Bandages and medkits can be crafted | Check your healing stock before spending materials |
| Crafting materials | Recipes consume specific ingredients | Compare recipe costs before crafting |
Avoid treating every newly acquired firearm as something you must immediately carry. For example, you can purchase the assault rifle during Hunt Marlowe and keep it in storage until you need it.
Take care with melee weapons, too. Repair kits restore them, while regular melee weapons can break during combat. Check durability before a long encounter and repair a weapon you want to preserve.
Crafting is another reason to review your pack carefully. Pistol ammunition uses Scraps and Gunpowder, while other recipes require overlapping materials. Open the crafting menu and compare your options before spending ingredients on a supply you already have.
If your inventory fills up near the late-game 2342 keypad cabinet, there is a storage chest in the next area. Use it, then return for the cabinet’s contents before progressing farther.
Balance Inventory Space With Your Coin Budget
Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades belong alongside weapon upgrades and crafting recipes in your progression planning. Carrying more supplies helps, but those supplies still need to support the encounters ahead.
Coins are limited: there is no coin-farming route, and you cannot purchase every possible shop item in one run. Search for coins as you progress and sell treasure instead of leaving its value trapped in storage.
Several early purchases give you concrete choices:
| Purchase | Availability | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Pistol Hair Trigger | Zora’s first shop | 150 coins |
| Pistol Extended Magazine | Zora’s first shop | 180 coins |
| Medkit recipe | Zora’s first shop | 200 coins |
| Lockpick recipe | Zora’s first shop | 120 coins |
| Basic Repair Kit recipe | Zora’s first shop | 120 coins |
| Pistol Heavy Grain Bullets | Zora’s second shop | 160 coins |
| Shotgun ammunition recipe | Zora’s second shop | 220 coins |
Check your immediate needs before buying. If you need to repair melee weapons, compare the Basic Repair Kit recipe with your available ingredients. Its crafting cost is 1 Scraps, 1 Cloth, and 2 Coils.
The Medkit recipe costs 2 Cloth, 4 Herbs, and 1 Chemicals per craft. Inspect those stocks before buying the recipe so you understand what you can produce afterward.
Distinguish inventory capacity from firearm magazine capacity. The pistol’s Extended Magazine and the shotgun’s Extended Mag Tube are weapon upgrades. Collect inventory expansions separately rather than assuming a larger weapon magazine expands your pack.
Revisit Zora as objectives advance, because additional purchases become available during progression. After collecting the Statue’s Head, for example, the Shotgun Dragon Breath Rounds upgrade becomes available for 360 coins.
Prepare Your Loadout Before Moving On
Put Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades to work by checking your loadout before leaving a shop or storage chest. Pack for the next encounter, and leave room to collect resources along the route.
| Before continuing | What to check | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Leaving an upgrade area | Shelves, cabinets, safes, and named landmarks | Collect the expansion before advancing |
| Departing a shop | Carried equipment and stored treasure | Sell treasure and review spare weapons |
| Entering combat | Ammunition, healing, and melee durability | Craft or repair for the encounter |
| Exploring a new section | Environmental objects and hazards | Look for alternatives to spending ammunition |
| Approaching the final boss | Ranged weapons and ammunition | Sell unneeded melee weapons at the final shop |
Use the Genesis Configuration alongside your firearms. Telekinesis lets you throw environmental objects when you have Suffering available. Damaging enemies and executing blue-flashing enemies with the Configuration replenish that resource.
Look for explosive containers and other environmental opportunities before firing into a crowd. Those mechanics give you ways to conserve ammunition without depending entirely on spare melee weapons.
Use stealth takedowns when you can safely reach an enemy. The knife used for those takedowns does not break, allowing you to preserve ammunition and regular melee durability.
For the final Marlowe fight, prepare ranged weapons. Use the revolver, SMG, or assault rifle against the bodies on his back, then use the shotgun against his exposed body after the Hellchains opening. Melee weapons are unnecessary for that encounter, so sell them at the final shop.
Before crossing into the next area, check both your objective and your inventory. Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival inventory upgrades are easier to collect during that last sweep than to remember after the route has closed behind you.
